MISSION – DRIVEN
DUDEFRIENDS was created with a mission: Put a dent in the male loneliness problem. In 2017, the U.S. Surgeon General penned an essay for the Harvard Business Review, in which he declared loneliness a growing health epidemic. He wasn’t wrong. And the problem is getting worse, particularly among men.
Far too many men today are struggling. They are depressed and isolated. They lack community. They are suffering in silence.
There is also lingering stigma around men’s mental health.
DUDEFRIENDS enriches the lives of men by providing them a safe space in which they can converse, connect, and cultivate lasting friendships with other men.
